Maynooth secures major conferences

NUI Maynooth secures major academic conferences

We are pleased to announce that several major academic conferences have been secured recently for NUI Maynooth.

 

From 26-30 July 2010 the university will host the annual IASIL conference under the direction of Professor Margaret Kelleher of An Foras Feasa.

 

The following month the biennial EASA conference will come to Ireland for the first time, hosted by the Department of Anthropology.

 

In 2011 the University will host Fourteenth International Celtic Congress of which Professor Ruairí Ó hUiginn of the School of Celtic Studies is Organising Secretary

 

Together the three conferences are expected to attract approximately 2,000 delegates.
